New Interactive textbooks, technology increase learning, retention
Our new textbooks, so unlike the textbooks most of us grew up with, have been installed for grades Pre-Kindergarten — 8th Grade. We are proud to say that Saint Joseph Catholic School is one of the few schools in Northern Colorado using this technology for ALL GRADES. Mind you, this doesn’t mean that we are doing away with traditional methods of teaching. In the business of academic excellence since 1925, Saint Joseph Catholic School offers the best of traditional and 21st century learning!

Pages from the new textbooks are displayed on classroom projectors, so students are able to interact directly with components of the text being displayed. Pages come up, and with a click of the mouse, they become interactive. This makes the material far more engaging than looking at it. Also, material can easily be accessed at home. Working from home, links are directly available to tutoring and video lessons, and homework can be completed and submitted electronically. In addition, students have fewer books to take to and from school. Teachers are excited because we’ve been able to see increased engagement in the classroom.
